What is your favorite kind of wedding day moment to capture?
One of our most favorite moments on a wedding is when the couple is pronounced “Officially Married”! The excitement on their faces are so genuine. We anticipate an eruption from the crowd, their arms raising up as they know it’s for real! Such a great moment to witness! As they recede up the aisle, we just keep taking photos or keep rolling the video while we capture two souls in love!

How do you help couples enjoy the moment during an exciting yet hectic day?
Couples want to “keep the ball rolling”. We stay in-tune with everyone’s personality and give appropriate attention to the little details all day. Once the couple and guests notice our grace-under-pressure and how well things are being managed, they just seem to relax and enjoy their day and each other more organically.

Where are your favorite Springfield Country Club spots to photograph couples?
While there are several spots that come to mind, we love the sun setting over the lake near the 16th, the weeping willow trees up the 18th cart path and the amazing chic lobby is very stylish too!

What is an unexpected item you consider a must have on any wedding shoot?
All of our photographers have needle and thread, safety pins, band-aids and black and white duct-tape. We’ve, at one time or another, used these items to save the day! Our team is multi-talented and it’s our goal to have quick solutions when things seem to go temporarily wrong. We are a calming source for things like that.

What is your favorite kind of wedding day moment to capture?
The best moments are the little pieces of heaven like dad seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time or the bridesmaids helping the bride with getting ready. Little moments that have such an impact on emotions, not only for that day… but captured forever!!!

How do you help couples enjoy the moment during an exciting yet hectic day?
As a photographer, the best way is to become more like the brides best friend and walk her through even the hardest parts of the day.  Taking on her stress is part of making the day go a little less hectic!

Where are your favorite Springfield Country Club spots to photograph couples?
I have to admit, I really don’t like sharing that information, BUT… a short cart ride down the path along side of the 18^th hole, there is a REALLY big hill that we usually go behind so you are looking up the hill… some hidden spots back there are fabulous!

What is an unexpected item you consider a must have on any wedding shoot? 
TISSUES!!!!   If you are a caring person… every darn ceremony gets you!
